Introducing: Miss Amy

This is such a fun dress to make and wear. Your daughter will be dancing and twirling about for sure in Miss Amy. Make it for an outing or for play with the fabrics you choose. The included pattern piece, size 6 mo. -size 10 girls, is ready for you to customize your bodice and cut the sleeves. You will find the cap sleeve length already marked on the pattern piece. The three tiered skirt has the tiers attached on the outside, giving a sweet little ruffle at the top edge of each tier. When made with knit and raw edges, the dress is a quick and easy creation. Want more than three tiers...it's all up to you.
A tunic length looks great paired with the Cute and Quick Pants, also designed by SquigglyTwigs.
SquigglyTwigs Designs uses non-traditional construction techniques to make sewing fun, easy, and so quick. There are two unique techniques used in the construction of this dress. One is constructing the dress in the flat with the side seams sewn last. The other is "tricking" your sewing machine into gathering without the use of a special foot.
This pattern will be $3 through Monday May 2nd, then it will be at it's regular price of $6.
Happy Sewing!
Debbie
