The Olivia Skirt e-Pattern

The Olivia Skirt is a fun and easy skirt to make.
This versatile pattern comes with a Custom Fit or Standard Fit option.
The Custom Fit option gives you control of the width and length of your skirt.  The sizing formula in the Custom Fit option allows you to make a skirt in any size!
The Standard Fit option (sizes 12 mo.-8 and 18” doll), allows you to use our cutting guide and eliminate measuring and math.
This skirt looks great paired with the peasant shirt or with our Fun and Easy Knit top as pictured above.

This skirt pattern is the update of our Twirl Skirt pattern.  If you own our Twirl Skirt pattern and would like the update, email us at squigglytwigsdesigns@yahoo.com for your free update.

Happy Sewing!

Twirl Skirt Review!

I wanted some feedback on the SquigglyTwigs patterns thus far, so I asked some complete strangers to try them and review them for me. Boy, was/am I nervous having people I don't know, who may say things "I don't want to hear" about these patterns. But, constructive criticism is a good thing and will only make the patterns better for the moms and daughters sewing them.
The first pattern to be reviewed is: Twirl Skirt . Nicole from Bless Their Hearts blog made a skirt for her daughter and wrote up this nice review for us. She made a couple of suggestions: page numbers and also that the skirt can be made less full for thinner children/mamas. I've heard her suggestions and will add those things. Thank you, Nicole.

New Pattern: Twirl Skirt

This skirt pattern is designed to be easy to fit and quick to assemble, yet stylish. It has a top yoke with an elastic waist, and a bottom band to allow both an easy fit and some fabric contrast.
By having control over the width and length of the skirt, and the fabric options for the yoke and band, you can create any look you can imagine. We used Flower Power by Jennifer Paganelli in this Twirl Skirt and Peasant Shirt. With the sizing formula you can create a twirl skirt for yourself or your child.
This skirt looks great paired with the Pretty Peasant Shirt, as pictured. Oh, and the skirt really does twirl. My little girl has tried it out many times. lol!
I also made a coordinating Peasant Dress out of the yellow print, with a blue print tie, for myself. We wore our coodinating outfits to a lady's tea and will wear them to church on Mother's Day. Coordinating outfits for Mother's Day is a "mommy thing" for me. And, yes, I'm working on the mommy sized pattern of the Pretty Peasant Dress for you all, too.
Lastly, don't forget we have another contest going on with our friend Penny Raine. The details are in the previous post.
