Tuesday's Tute: These Shoe Clips are too Cute!

I've been wanting to make these for quite some time.  Curly beat me to it.  She made these shoe clips to coordinate with the 4-H skirt she's making.  She can clip the flowers on to her flats, sandals, or flip flops.
Materials:
6-8 Fabric scrap circles 3-4" diameter
Needle and Thread
Shoe clips: we purchased our clips on etsy a few months ago (a velcro loop will also work)
Flower centers: these can be buttons you sew on or anything else (we used earrings with the posts removed)
Hot glue (if you are gluing on your center)

Directions:

 1. Stack the circles and stitch the clip into the center back of the flower, through all of the layers.

 2. Clip pie shaped slits around the perimeter of the flower.

3. Add the flower center.  Buttons can be stitched on.  Other types can be glued on.

4. Wrinkle and fluff up your flower.  The rougher you are the better they look.  Spritzing it with a bit of water and squeezing it can help give it character.

This flower was also used here and here.

Happy Sewing!
