This week I'm sharing some fun and inspiration from Daria at Boutique Cafe. You can see her entire blog post about her Pink Fig interview here. The dolls on the shirt in this photo are Pink Fig. You'll find a link to the free pattern in the blog post and in the interview video. As you watch this video look closely at the fabrics used in the samples and even in the photos...great inspiration and a wonderful "tutorial" on unexpected color combinations.
Look a little further into Boutique Cafe's blog posts on Quilt Market, and you'll find a flickr group of all of the photos Daria took while at Quilt Market. It's amazing. There are hours of color inspiration in that flickr group!!!! Now, don't be tempted to jump ship and buy some of the patterns from those designers...lol :) . Well, if you do see something you love, see if we have it in our shop first ;).
