The Casey Skirt e-Pattern

The Casey Skirt is a favorite at our house. It can be quiet and feminine or as colorful and whimsical as you like. It all depends on the fabrics you choose to create her.
We chose to use many fabrics, and thread colors to create our Casey. Do not be afraid to mix colors and patterns together in your skirt. Forget about the "color rules" and let your creative side out!
There are two sewing options: Custom Fit and Standard Fit.  The Custom Fit option includes the formula to use your measurements to create a perfectly fitting skirt in any size. The Standard Fit sewing option includes a standard cutting guide with all of the dimensions you need to create a skirt in sizes 12 months – size 8. We've also included cutting dimensions for an 18” doll skirt.
There are endless options with this skirt. You can customize it with colors, patterns, threads and trims. Although it is hard to see in the photos, we used metallic thread to attach the ruffles. You also have the option to zigzag the ruffle edge to allow a small amount of fraying.
The Casey Skirt can be made from almost any fabric. Your design options are truly endless!
SquigglyTwigs e-patterns are not intended to teach traditional sewing skills. We teach sewists techniques to create fun and easy clothing with their own unique style.
This pattern includes detailed photos, drawings and carefully written instructions to enable you to create your own version of the Casey Skirt.
Those sewist who own the previous version of the Casey Skirt may email us at squigglytwigsdesigns@yahoo.com and request the updated e-pattern.
Happy Sewing!
