Introducing the Sweet Savannah Skirt e-Pattern

We've had so much fun designing this skirt. As usual you draft the pattern from measurements, so you control the fullness/length. The inspiration for the vertical gathers came from my senior prom dress, 25 years ago ;). I always loved that design element and am so glad to be able to put it to use again here. The basic part of the pattern gives instructions for drafting a single fabric overskirt. Later in the pattern you'll find drafting and sewing instructions for a stripped option. The one we're picturing is the stripped version.
You can add trims and ribbons within the layers and strips or around the skirt (as we did). The stripped version would look lovely with ribbon on top of the strip seams.
In the photos, we've paired this skirt with the top from the Pretty Peasant Dress e-Pattern. I hope you have as much fun creating with this skirt as we are. Please read through the entire pattern before you begin.
Don't forget from now until Easter all e-paterns are 50% off. Use the code Easter at checkout.
Happy Sewing!
Debbie
