A tute for a skirt refashion and a gathered pocket just came in my Craft Gossip newsletter. What a wonderful way to remember those in our history and be Thankful for them, than to reuse their things. In fact, while at Grandma's this week ask to hunt through her things. She may really enjoy the time looking through them with you and the idea of you using them for your family.
If you happen to have any of Grandma's embroidered tray cloths, you've got gold. These pockets could make any skirt/dress simply sweet.
